We have canceled our Saturday event due to the rain this week. This has soaked our arena. It will not dry enough to provide a dry and safe competition ground for the horses and riders by this weekend.

Rodeo Entry Fees: 50% goes to ASGRA and 50% paid out
Each event payout will be based on number of entries for that event
Example: 10 entries in Barrel Racing = $150 entry fees collected
$75 goes to ASGRA
$45 paid out to 1st place
$30 paid out to 2nd place
Notes: Two hands are on the reins are allowed. Patterns will be posted on show day. Each entry will perform pattern one at a time and will be timed. Entries are only allowed to jog/trot the pattern. Fastest time wins.
DISQUALIFICATIONS WILL INCLUDE:
5 seconds PENALTY GIVEN FOR:
PLUG/TURN N BURN CLASS - Run course around a single barrel. May turn either direction. Fastest time wins.
BARREL CLASS - Run course set up as a cloverleaf pattern. See Pattern Set-Up page.
OPEN SPEED DIVISION - (Open to all ages)
Notes: Patterns will be posted on show day. Riders age 18 & under must wear approved hard hat with harness strap under the chin secured. Western hats with ties so that they remain on or attached are encouraged.
5 SECONDS PENALTY GIVEN FOR:
EQUIPMENT FAILURE RULE: In cases of broken equipment or loss of shoe, competitor much continue or be eliminated.
FIGURE 8 STAKE CLASS - Run course set up with two poles 100 feet apart. The poles shall be set on top of the ground, six feet height and with a base approximately 14 inches in diameter. Two orange cones are placed 20 feet apart in the center of the arena to constitute a start/finish line as indicated around an end pole, pass back through the center cones, make a turn in the opposite direction around the other end pole and then back through the center cones to finish. Knocking over poles, cones or touching poles with hand in an attempt to prevent it from tipping over will result in a 5 second penalty per pole and/or cone.
