ASGRA Membership Meeting

The membership meeting agenda will include some informational items about our association as well as some general questions for discussion among our group. The items on our agenda will include:

• Goals Analysis
  At the start of 2015, the ASGRA Board, chose the amount of $500 to raise for our charity partner Brother Help Thyself and the amount of $1500 to raise for ASGRA, itself.
• The Board also chose to increase our membership in 2015 by 30%. This works out to a goal of gaining 17 members for the current year.
• We will provide an update of where we are currently for the two goals
• Organizational Operational Costs
  We will provide an overview of just what we do with your membership money and the money we raise for our organization.
• General Organizational Discussion
  Some questions to get us thinking about where we are as an organization and where we might like to go moving forward.
• Do we even need ASGRA? Help us find our future existence since gays are now mostly accepted.
• Should we eliminate the word "Gay" in our name?
• How can you help us recruit more Gay/Lesbian/Transgender/Straight Couples for our membership?
• What fun activities do you want us to do? Will you help us put thoseactivities on?
• We are a Rodeo Association. What steps would you suggest that we take to have the monies needed to again put on a rodeo? We want, at the least, to have $50k-$65k in the bank before we even try.
• Ideas for places to hold a future ASGRA Rodeo?
• Would any of you want to be an ASGRA official? If so, which office?
• How should we select future charities?
• Will you help us build a monetary base to help these charities?
