Stick Horse Race
In this event, children race as a group through a small "U" pattern around a pole on stick horses. The first one to cross the finish line wins $25 dollars. Children are sectioned out by ages to compete against each other: 4-6, 7-9, 10-12. The children must remain "riding" the stick horse during the entire pattern. Registration for this event is $5 dollars per child with all registration fees going to Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

Piggy Back Flag Race
One adult and one child compete together as a team in this event. The child is piggybacked by the adult. Teams race a triangular pattern similar to that of the flag race on horseback, though the pattern is greatly shrunk. Teams run past one barrel that has a bucket with rabbit pellets placed on top of it, and a flag in the bucket. The child picks up the flag and the team races around a pole to place the flag in the second bucket. Teams may choose to run to the right or left and as they pass the first barrel. The child must remain on piggyback during the entire pattern. Best time wins $25. The flag must be placed in the second bucket to complete the event. The event is limited to a maximum time of 3 minutes. Registration for this event is $5 dollars per child with all registration fees going to Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
